(May 7) - The odds of winning a single lottery prize are high. So the chances of hitting five times in eight months must be astronomical. But that's what Brenda Bailey of Charleston, W. Va., has done.
Taking home prizes ranging from $1,000 to $100,000, Bailey has massed $167,000 in lottery winnings, reported WCHS.

In September she won $10,000 from a scratch-off ticket. In January she bought a ticket worth $6,000. And over just the past month Bailey won prizes separately worth $1,000, $50,000 and the biggest of them all all, $100,000.
Bailey can't believe her own streak of good fortune: "I was just numb. I sat and I thought this is just not happening," she told WCHS
The money will come in handy for the Bailey family, who have a leaky roof that needs to be fixed and veterinary bills piling up. Bailey also hope to take a cruise with her husband for their 43rd wedding anniversary.
