A mischievous 2-year-old is lucky to be alive after falling out of a second-story window. Cannon Jamison was pressing on the window screen trying to get the attention of some older boys below when he fell. Luckily he was caught by one of his brother's friends.

After appealing for help on Facebook when they couldn't afford their 4-year-old son's cystic fibrosis medications, an anonymous donor came forward to help the Contreras family. The donor, who saw Nathan Contreras' story on TV, met the family at a drug store and paid their out-of-pocket expenses -- $2,300.

A 7-year-old British boy who appealed for earthquake-relief donations by promising to ride five miles around a local park has pulled in an astonishing $200,000. On his fundraising Web page, Charlie Simpson said he wanted to "buy food, water and tents for everyone in Haiti."

Trapped Dad Survives With Help of App

An aid worker trapped in the rubble of Port-au-Prince's Hotel Montana kept himself alive by using first aid tips detailed in a cell phone application. Dan Woolley was able to treat his bleeding and shock using the app "Pocket First Aid & CPR" until rescuers pulled him to safety after 60 hours.
